Experience & Expertise
Shaliza Wallace is an Associate Attorney in the Firm’s Corporate/Commercial practice. She specializes in Immigration Law with emphasis on work permit and visa applications. She also provides regulatory support for a variety of corporate/commercial transactions, ensuring that clients remain compliant with legal requirements.
Shaliza started her legal career as a Conveyancing Secretary in 2002 and continued up to 2019 when she transitioned to an Associate at the Firm. Her invaluable experience in conveyancing practice and procedure has enabled Shaliza to also efficiently take conduct of various transactional conveyancing matters on behalf of the Firm.

- Local Counsel for an international Immigration Law Firm, providing regulatory support, applying for and securing numerous Work Permits for specialized foreign workers to support the local Oil and Gas Sector on major projects within Trinidad and Tobago.
- Local Counsel assisting the Firm’s Lead Attorney a transaction involving the acquisition by a US based multinational company of 100% shareholding of a local oil and gas services company, including conducting due diligence, negotiations relating to the Transaction Agreements, preparing relevant documentation for share acquisition and financing arrangements and Closing deliverables.
- Advised on and revised Distribution and Supply Agreements for a leading distribution company.
